Prep Summer Concert 2018

The Summer Concert was a glorious mix of fabulous music, frivolity and feathers!
We had a wonderful evening listening to superb performances from Felix, Sofia, Sophie, Stewie and Hector as well as the full orchestra and no less than five ensembles.

The concert opened with the Orchestra in full force, performing a 'Best of Britain' medley.
Chamber Strings and the Chamber Choir were up next and gave us a lovely rendition of 'Now we are Free' which was arranged and directed by Susannah Clark.

Flute Group performed a very jaunty 'Sailor's Hornpipe' and Junior Strings had us tapping our toes to 'Chicken on a Fence Post'.
Th Brass Group and Jazz Band followed and wowed us with 'Sosban Fach' and 'Splanky'

S Form then took centre stage with 'One Short Day', complete with feather boa's and some great choreography to match.
Next up, Jordan singers sang two pieces from the Wizard of Oz, with their usual joie de vivre

M, P and S Form gave a rousing rendition of 'Ding Dong, the Witch is Dead' which included a cameo performance from Mrs Whitcombe which none present will forget; it delighted the audience and her fellow performers alike.
