What is your most cherished memory of your time at Fettes?
Making the most of my time outside of the classroom with friends back in Glencorse - on the sports field or in dorm. Saturday morning congregational practices will always stick in my memory too.

And your least?
Being homesick in 3rd Form.

What person or event left a lasting impression on you?
The Glencorse tutors and Mr Butler for the respect he commanded amongst all of us. I suppose that being with so many international students helped me respect different cultures as well.

Were you a conscientious student?
Yes, perhaps overly so. Having said that I loved the subjects (History, Spanish, Drama and French) I studied in Sixth Form.

Outside the classroom how did you spend your free time at Fettes?
I was - and am - a very keen sportsman but I enjoyed everything on offer, like taking part in plays and filming the memorable Glencorse video clips in my last year!

What did having a scholarship at Fettes mean to you?
It first of all gave me the opportunity to become a Fettesian, so in this sense it meant everything to me. It humbled me and was what drove me on during the tough times.
