1st Form Tutor

I achieved my MA in French and German with Medieval History at St Andrews University and then spent a year in Grenoble working as an “Assistante anglaise”. I then completed a T.E.S.O.L course in Bournemouth before going out to teach English in Warsaw for 6 months, teaching business men and women as well as children.

The following year I taught English in Sétubal, in Portugal, in a small private English school before completing my PGCE in Homerton College in Cambridge in French and German. I first taught in Glenwood High school for 3 years, finishing as Acting Head of Department prior to starting at Fettes in 2003 as the Head of French in the Prep school. At the end of 2006 I took a career break to have a family and I am now very excited to return to teach French and EFL in the Prep school.
