What is your most cherished memory from your time at Fettes?
Playing all the sports, from rugby in the winter, to tennis in the summer, combined with swimming team, athletics team, shooting team, basketball team etc.

And your least?
Getting up on cold winter mornings.

What event or personality left a lasting impression on you?
David Pighill's efficiency to Chas Whittle's eccentric personality, throwing essays out the window and if you caught yours before it hit the ground, you wouldn't have to rewrite it. His polo mints and if he called rats, you would jump up on the desk and stay there until he called 'cats'.

Were you a conscientious student?
You wanted to do well as the ultimate prestige was to get into
Oxbridge and be on the rugby team.
