What is your most cherished memory from your time at Fettes?
Being made Head Girl. Also the friends I made - my children have three Fettes Godparents between them, I have two Fettes Godchildren (as in children of fellow OFs) and the school represents a very strong tie between us all.

And your least?
Tricky - probably personal things, such as boyfriend trouble or my dreadful chilblains!

What event or personality left a lasting impression on you?
Key people - Christopher Carruthers, Geoff Blair and the then Catering Manager, whose name escapes me (we met weekly together with the Head Boy to discuss menus and food standards etc).

Key events - much harder as the whole time was very positive for me; probably things like activities as Head Girl and actually working on making positive changes to the school.

Were you a conscientious student?
Yes, most of the time.

Outside the classroom, how did you spend your free time at Fettes?
Lots of socialising, but also taking advantage of Edinburgh's cultural offering e.g. art galleries (I did A level History of Art).
