Charity
Fettes College and Fettes Prep actively encourage their pupils and staff to think of others and get involved in a wide range of charitable activities including volunteering and fundraising. We also work closely with local organisations, schools and charities to provide our facilities and expertise too.
The Charities Committee
Our Charities Committee (run by our Chaplain) decides which charities we support as a whole school including the retiring collection at our termly concerts. We also have a huge number of pupils and staff who independently undertake charitable fundraising events and volunteering across a vast range of charities and organisations. One such project is helping Fetlor Youth Club to raise funds to rebuild their existing building so the young people of Edinburgh can continue to go there.
Public Benefit
From building new classrooms in Tanzania to fun runs, own clothes days to talent nights, discos to volunteering, there is a wealth of charitable activites taking place at Fettes throughout the year. Each year we review all the charitable activities which have been undertaken by the Fettes community and the 2011 Public Benefit Audit
The Governors of the Fettes Trust
